Hey everyone, I’ve been following the case of Dr. James and Mary Ellen Kimball, and it's just incredibly sad to think about how this has affected their family and all of Osceola. The one detail I can't stop thinking about is the memorial space at Clarke County Hospital. It strikes me as both a beautiful and poignant way to remember Mary Ellen, especially with the sculpture she helped bring to life. I can only imagine how difficult the holidays must be for the people of Osceola grappling with this loss. Does anyone know if there's a specific significance behind the choice of the sculpture they placed the memorial near? I read somewhere that Mary Ellen had a particular attachment to it. Anything that sheds light on their lasting contributions would be appreciated. The community’s response with tributes at the memorial seems like a testament to the immense impact the Kimballs had on everyone around them. Sending thoughts to their family and hoping they find peace in such a difficult time.
