I still can't wrap my head around this senseless act of violence. It's shocking how quickly a moment of anger on the road can escalate into something so tragic. I feel deeply for Lenier Clayton's family, especially as they try to navigate through this darkness while holding onto the good memories they shared with him. The fact that Lenier's life was taken over something so preventable is truly unimaginable. I find it disturbing that someone with a previous felony conviction like Rogers was even behind the wheel, let alone carrying a firearm. We, as a society, really need to look into these systemic failures to prevent similar tragedies in the future. My sincere thoughts go out to Lenier's loved ones. Let's hope justice is served and that Clayton's family can find some semblance of peace as they remember him.
