I can't stop thinking about the impact this tragedy has on the kids at Friend Zone Learning. Daycare is supposed to be a safe place, and to have something so horrific happen there is unimaginable. How is the staff explaining this to the little ones and their parents? It's so hard to wrap my mind around how something like this could happen in a place dedicated to caring for children. My heart goes out to Cantrelle Hayes-Ross’s family and everyone who knew her—they're having to deal with so much right now, and losing such a bright soul who gave so much to her community is beyond devastating. If anyone hears about efforts to support the daycare or ways to help the children who were in her care, please update us here. These kids will need all the support they can get to feel safe again.

I've been following the tragic case of Cantrelle Hayes-Ross, and I can't stop thinking about how much this senseless act has impacted the families who relied on her daycare.
