Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Uzziah Shell, and I can't stop thinking about the incident with the ghost gun. It's unnerving to know that a 16-year-old was found with such a dangerous weapon near where Uzziah was fatally shot, even though he's not connected to the murder. It just makes me wonder how these weapons are getting into the hands of teens and what more we can do to prevent this. Ghost guns are so easy to assemble and nearly impossible to trace, which is terrifying. The fact that this shooting happened in broad daylight and endangered kids on a school bus as well raises so many alarms about safety in the community. It feels like a call to action to both address gun control and support our youth to prevent them from turning to violence. Uzziah deserved so much better, and my heart really goes out to his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I can only hope that steps are taken to make sure this never happens again, and that whoever is responsible is held accountable soon. Let's keep sharing insights and push for change. Any thoughts on what can be done at a community level to help prevent access to these kinds of weapons or support positive paths for our youth? Stay safe, everyone.
