Hey everyone, I'm really struggling to wrap my head around the fact that Sabastian Jaydan Ocon, involved in Arron Fuentez's tragic death, was already on deferred adjudication for pretty serious charges before this happened. It seems like there were so many warning signs with his past, especially with the injury to a child charge and evading arrest. How was he still able to get a hold of a firearm? It makes me wonder if some loopholes in the system allowed this to slip through the cracks. My thoughts are with Arron's family and friends as they endure this difficult time. It's such a heavy and preventable tragedy that I hope leads to more scrutiny on enforcing firearm restrictions, especially for those who have shown violent behavior in the past. Anyone else concerned about how this was overlooked?
