Another kid with a gun. Their brains aren't fully developed until about 25. You shouldn't allow any access to guns as a child. This is so sad.

Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the way the community has come together since the tragic loss of Marquise Deshawn Williams. It’s amazing to see how the rally for "No Gun Violence" was organized so swiftly, and it truly shows the strength and resilience of the people in Brenham. Seeing the balloon release and hearing Tenisha speak about her son’s love for basketball and his caring nature was emotional, but also inspiring. It’s important that we keep talking about the impact of gun violence and actively work towards ensuring safer environments for our youth. My heart goes out to Marquise's family and friends who have to navigate this unimaginable pain. Let’s keep supporting each other and advocate for change to honor Marquise’s life and legacy. Thoughts?
I just found myself reflecting on the community rally for Marquise Williams... It's genuinely inspiring to see a town come together in such a meaningful way amidst this tragedy. The 'No Gun Violence' rally showed how deeply Marquise touched those around him. I didn't know him personally, but reading how his mother, Tenisha, described him as kind and passionate about basketball brings a personal element to the whole situation. It's so important that we keep pushing these messages of peace. It's clear that Marquise's legacy is still motivating people, which is a testament to his character. I hope that the community continues to find strength in each other and builds upon the momentum of these rallies to advocate for lasting change. Let's keep remembering Marquise for the joy he brought and strive to prevent any more lives from being needlessly lost.
