I came across a touching story from one of Christian LaCour's close friends who shared how passionate he was about his job as a security guard. It seems Christian really took pride in keeping people safe, and it’s absolutely gut-wrenching to think about how he lost his life while protecting others. His friend mentioned how Christian always had a smile on his face and would go out of his way to make sure everyone around him felt secure. It’s so important that we remember the individuals behind these stories and honor their bravery. It just breaks my heart for his family and friends who must be feeling such unimaginable loss. To think of a young man, just 20 years old, with his whole life ahead of him... It's a stark reminder of the very real and personal impact these senseless acts of violence have on families and communities.
