I recently read about the tragic shooting on Ruby Avenue, and I can’t stop thinking about Sondre Johnson's friends and family. It's incredibly difficult to imagine what they must be going through right now. Losing someone so young and full of potential... it’s just so unfair. I’m curious about the role of the community in cases like this. I've seen other cities where community involvement has been pivotal in solving crimes. Has the Waco community come together to support the family or hold vigils, and has there been any movement on gathering information from the public? It’s so essential for everyone to come together in times like these, not only for healing but also to help bring the perpetrators to justice. If anyone in Waco has info or ideas on how people can help, please share. It’s important that Sondre and his family get the justice they deserve.
