Hi everyone,
I've been following the case of Tarod Mitchell, and my thoughts are with his family and friends during this tremendously difficult time. One thing that stands out to me is the use of a stolen white Kia sedan during the attack. Given the seriousness of the crime, I wonder if the car was specifically stolen for this purpose or if it was a crime of opportunity.
Does anyone here have insights into how investigators typically determine the timing and motive behind using stolen vehicles in these types of crimes? It seems like understanding whether the suspects had been planning this could be crucial in piecing together their identities and motives. Every lead counts, so if anyone local notices a vehicle matching this description or knows anything, it might make a big difference to reach out to SAPD or Crime Stoppers.
Stay safe out there, everyone, and let’s keep talking about Tarod so we can help bring some answers and maybe a bit of peace to those who knew and loved him.
