Has anyone looked into the significance of Highway 101, especially around the Leggett area where Zachary Velazquez's car was found? I did a bit of digging and noticed that this stretch of highway is pretty isolated. It's not heavily trafficked and is surrounded by dense forests. Could it have been deliberately chosen for that reason, or is it just a coincidence? There are hardly any surveillance cameras or witnesses in such remote places, making it difficult for investigators. I'm curious if there's any history of similar cases or incidents around this area that could provide some insight. Has anyone else come across anything related to this region?
I keep thinking about Zachary Velazquez's abandoned car and how odd it is to find it over a thousand miles away from his home in Austin. Why would his vehicle end up in such a remote area on Highway 101? I read somewhere that the stretch of road near Leggett is pretty isolated, and it makes me wonder if someone dropped it there intentionally. Was it meant to throw off anyone looking for him, or was it simply a stop that went wrong? The fact that there were no signs for rule out any quick conclusions. Maybe someone local might have seen something around that time in November 2021. Anyone from that area have insights on unusual activities around Mile Post Marker 86.75 then?
Has anyone else noticed how peculiar it is that Zachary's car was abandoned in such a remote area? Highway 101 near Leggett isn’t exactly a place you just "end up" without purpose. Why would Zachary drive so far from Austin just to leave his car there? It's puzzling because it seems unlikely he had any connection to that area, and the car being found over a month later without any signs of him raises so many questions. Could it be that someone else drove his car? Or maybe he was planning on meeting someone? It just doesn’t add up. Anyone familiar with that region who can shed some light on why someone might intentionally head out that way? Seems like a strange destination choice if he was on his own. Thoughts?
