Folks in the area had always seen Jalen as the caring, doting mother who was deeply invested in her kids' happiness. The local community center is planning a vigil to remember her and provide support for her family. It’s so important that we not only focus on the legal proceedings, but also come together as a community to support those two little ones who’ve lost their mom in such an unfathomable way. I just wish they find some peace amidst all this chaos, and hoping more can be done to protect families from such violence.
