Hey all,
I'm still processing the loss of Yetao Bing. It's just so painful thinking about this incredible person who put his heart and soul into both his work and his family. What strikes me most is how much he cared for his two young kids; he must've been a phenomenal father. I can't stop thinking about the trip he was planning to finally reunite with his family in China. It's just so devastating that he won't get to see them again or introduce his daughter to her extended family. Sending every bit of love to his family—I hope they find some comfort in knowing how adored and respected he was by everyone who knew him. This senseless act has taken so much from them and it's just so unfair. ?
Has anyone else been thinking about how communities come together in times of tragedy and support one another? I was reading about Yetao Bing, one of the victims of the Half Moon Bay shooting, and it just struck me how his story has touched so many people. His commitment not only to his work but to his family is so moving. I heard about the GoFundMe that's been set up to help his family, and it's amazing to see such overwhelming support from both local residents and strangers. It's comforting to know that even amid such a horrific event, there are still acts of kindness and solidarity. Sending lots of love to everyone who's hurting right now and hoping for some measure of peace for the families. ?
Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the Half Moon Bay case closely, and it's incredibly touching to learn more about the victims, especially Yetao Bing. I came across a post talking about him being a devoted father and son, and it made me reflect on how much he had on his plate with his responsibilities and yet made time for his family. I can't help but think about how he had been planning that trip to China for a family reunion. It must have been something he and his family were looking forward to, especially after being apart for so long due to the pandemic.
I really feel for his parents and kids, thinking about how they're coping with his loss. They must be devastated, especially knowing he worked so hard to support them, and was so proud of his children. It’s a reminder that these victims were real people with families who loved them dearly. If anyone here has more updates on how his family is doing or how the community is supporting them, I’d really appreciate the information. It’s important we keep the victims at the center of our discussions as justice is pursued.
Also, if you're able, maybe consider supporting that GoFundMe for his family. It's great to see the community coming together in support, trying to offer some comfort to those who need it most.
Stay safe, everyone.
