I've been following the developments in the 2016 north Phoenix shooting case, and my heart goes out to Jennifer Lynn Wood's family and friends. It must be unimaginably difficult to relive this tragedy as new details come to light. It's interesting that it took so long to bring charges against Steven Rivera. I wonder what finally prompted the police to move forward with the arrest? It seems like the witness who came forward, claiming to have given Rivera a ride the night of the incident, played a significant role. The fact that Rivera reportedly admitted to the shooting is quite shocking. Does anyone know if there were any other pieces of evidence, besides the witness statements and surveillance footage, that helped solidify the case against Rivera? I hope the trial process brings some measure of justice and peace to Jennifer's loved ones.
