I'm really shocked and saddened by Peter Polasek's murder. Reading through some of the details, it seems clear that Peter and James Ector had some sort of acquaintance, which just makes this whole situation even more troubling. It’s heartbreaking to imagine the kind of betrayal and fear Peter might have felt in his own home. My thoughts are with his family and friends who are undoubtedly going through a tough time right now. What's really sticking out to me is how Ector is still at large and considered armed and dangerous. This is definitely terrifying for the community. I live nearby, and it's unsettling to think about someone like that potentially hiding out around us. I hope the community remains cautious and that anyone who might know anything speaks up quickly. The longer he's out there, the more anxious everyone becomes. There's a memorial page for Peter, and I think it's really touching to see the community come together to honor his memory. It’s a powerful reminder that while his life was taken so violently, he touched many people who are now left to carry on his legacy. Let’s hope justice is served soon and the community can start healing from this tragedy.
