It’s really tough to read about the loss of Tony Miller. He seemed like an incredible person committed to helping others, especially through his work with Urban Alchemy. It’s hard to imagine the pain his family is going through, and it's so tragic that this happened just days before his birthday. The fact that Tony’s twin brother was also a victim of gun violence makes it feel like this family has faced far too much tragedy.
I’ve never been to this picnic personally, but from what I’ve read, it’s supposed to be a joyful event where people reunite and celebrate their shared history. The fact that something so violent disrupted such an occasion makes you think about the state of our communities. It’s deeply unsettling. I hope anyone with information comes forward to help Tony’s family find some type of closure. His loved ones, especially his kids, deserve answers and justice.
Hey everyone,
I can't stop thinking about the tragic incident at the McClymonds High School Alumni Picnic and how devastating it must be for Tony Miller's family and friends. Especially considering Tony’s dedication to his community with Urban Alchemy, it's a huge loss for so many people who relied on his kindness and support. It's gut-wrenching to see someone who spent their life helping others be taken away so violently.
I'm also curious about the dynamics of the park and if the layout might have made it difficult to identify the shooters. It was crowded, and I can imagine how chaotic it must have been when the shots rang out. Has anyone here been to DeFremery Park? Does the setup there make it hard for witnesses to see what's going on when something like this happens?
I hope whoever has any information comes forward soon. Tony and his family deserve justice, and his kids need answers. Keeping them all in my thoughts.
