Hey everyone,
I’ve been diving into Veyda Maria Sellers' case lately, and I'm really curious about the role her community might have played—or not played—when she vanished. Fort Bragg is a close-knit military environment, and I’m wondering how much support or pressure her family might have faced there during the initial phase of her disappearance. I read that her husband was U.S. Army; do you think there would have been any reluctance to report or investigate thoroughly due to his position? It’s just unsettling to think she could just vanish into thin air from a place that's supposed to be so secure. If anyone has insights or knows more about military life back in the late '90s, especially regarding how disappearances might have been handled, I'd love to hear your thoughts!
