I've been following the recent case in Memphis with a very heavy heart. The loss of both DeVondre S. Collins and Noah Collins is a massive blow, not just to their families but to the entire community. What really struck me is the role that this so-called "Reeload," who we now know as Dartagnan Deshawn Lee, played in all of this. It's alarming how guns with modifications, like the automatic firing switch on Lee's Glock, are making their way onto the streets. This wasn't just a senseless act but a deliberate armed assault that turned a gathering into a scene of chaos. For the bystanders, this would have been utterly terrifying, and my thoughts are with them too as they try to process this trauma. I think it's crucial for us as a community to rally around the families, not just with financial support, through things like the GoFundMe, but emotionally too. They need our voices, or even just a hug, to remind them that they're not alone during such an unimaginably tough period. Hopefully, this case will bring more attention to the gun violence issues that have been plaguing us and ignite some real change. Sending lots of love to the Collins family.

Has anyone else been following the legal proceedings in the DeVondre and Noah Collins case? I recently came across some updates about the charges against Dartagnan Deshawn Lee. It's infuriating and sad to see how violence can erupt so suddenly and have such devastating consequences. I can’t even begin to imagine what the Collins family is going through right now, especially with the slow pace of legal proceedings. They must wake up every day wishing it was just a bad dream. Does anyone have insights on how long these types of trials usually last, particularly with all the charges Lee is facing? I sincerely hope justice is served swiftly for DeVondre and Noah, and that their families can find some peace through all of this. My heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy and to the friends and family left behind trying to piece their lives back together. If anyone’s interested, there’s a GoFundMe in place to support the Collins family during this incredibly trying time.
