I keep thinking about Aayden's sister, Anraya, and the incredible strength she showed after that horrible night. Imagine being in such a terrifying situation, not knowing what to do, but somehow finding the courage to get help. I'm so relieved that she survived, but I can't even begin to fathom the emotional scars she's going to carry from losing her brother like that. I hope the community continues to support her and the entire Hayes family. It's so important for us all to rally around them during this unimaginably difficult time. Anyone have ideas on how our community can further support them and help prevent incidents like this in the future?

Hey everyone,
I've been following the tragic incident in Nashville at Red Caboose Park and wanted to share some thoughts about Aayden Hayes' case, specifically concerning the vigil planned for June 5th.
It's gut-wrenching to think of a young life lost so senselessly, and I can't help but admire the community's effort to come together to honor Aayden at the vigil. This event seems like it will be a powerful moment for everyone affected, providing a space not just for grief, but for solidarity and healing.
It’s crucial that these gatherings bring light to the ongoing issue of youth violence and gun access. Aayden's family, along with their call to action, is working hard to ensure his death was not in vain. This vigil, by being more than just a memorial, can amplify messages about the need for change in our communities, especially with regards to gun safety.
For those in Nashville or nearby, attending could mean supporting the Hayes family and showing commitment to preventing future tragedies. Does anyone here plan to go? Or has anyone attended similar events and can share how they’ve impacted their community or brought about any change?
Live life with compassion and keep Aayden's spirit in your thoughts.

I keep thinking about the brave actions of Anraya Hayes during this terrifying ordeal. Despite being injured, she somehow found the strength to get to a fire station and report the shooting. At just 16, she showed such resilience and presence of mind. It's important that we acknowledge her courage while dealing with this horrific event. I hope she's surrounded by love and support as she recovers both physically and emotionally. It’s crucial for the community to rally around her, just as much as they are standing by Aayden’s memory. It’s unimaginable what her family is going through, losing Aayden and having to support Anraya through her recovery. Let's keep them in our thoughts and do what we can to prevent such tragedies from affecting more innocent lives.
