I'm truly shaken by this news and my heart goes out to Carlos's family and friends. What really gets to me is the randomness and senselessness of this act. Being in a community gathering, you wouldn't expect something so violent to happen out of nowhere. It hits close to home, knowing that the shooter just emerged from the shadows like that. It tragically reminds us how unpredictable and fragile life is. The Lonsdale area has always been vibrant, with so many people caring deeply for their neighbors. I hope that the tight-knit relationships there will encourage witnesses to come forward and help the police. It feels like this is one of those situations where the community can make a real difference in getting justice for Carlos. Has anyone in the area heard any updates on whether there are more witnesses speaking up, or maybe some more footage surfacing? I genuinely hope there's some progress soon for the sake of Carlos's loved ones. Let's keep them in our thoughts and hope for a breakthrough in the investigation.
