As someone who's been following the case closely, I'm really curious about the evidence that was found in the toilet. It's not every day you hear about someone trying to flush away keys and bullet casings. Like, what was going through Easington's mind? Desperate times call for desperate measures, I guess, but wow. That level of panic almost speaks volumes about his state of mind at the time. I can't imagine how the prosecutors must have felt uncovering that. And really, what a horrible, painful situation for Megan and Lyla's family to have to relive during the trial. I hope they find some semblance of peace despite everything. It's so unsettling to think about.
