Hey everyone, I'm truly shaken up by this one. The loss of Quintir "Dete" Shy'lyn Simmons is just so upsetting, especially knowing how much he loved spending time with his boys, Jacoby and Phoenix. I can't imagine the impact this has had on them and their futures without their dad. One thing I've been mulling over is the suspect's release. She was there, didn't leave, and even cooperated with the police. It's odd that she wasn't charged, but it might point to something more complicated happening that we just don't know yet. Could there be a self-defense angle or some other unseen element? I hope we get more clarity soon. I hope anyone with even the smallest piece of information feels empowered to reach out to the authorities. Answers might be just one tip away. Sending all my thoughts to Dete's family and friends. Let's keep the conversation going in a respectful way and seek justice for Dete.

I’ve been following the developments surrounding the tragic loss of Quintir “Dete” Simmons, and I can’t help but think of his two young sons, Jacoby and Phoenix. It’s devastating to imagine the impact this has had on their lives and how they’re coping with the absence of their dad. As a community, it’s so important that we rally around those boys and their family to provide support and love. I read that Dete was a big Patriots fan and loved music—maybe organizing a tribute event that incorporates his interests could not only honor his memory but also bring people together to raise awareness and potentially gather more information about the case. Does anyone else agree? Maybe it could even help keep lines of communication open with law enforcement. My heart truly goes out to everyone affected by this senseless act, and I hope justice is served soon.
