I was just thinking about how Tahmir "SBM" Hightower's passion for music might have brought him so much joy and direction in his short life. It's tragically ironic that his rising career was cut short right at a time he seemed to have so much to look forward to, both personally and professionally. Losing such talent is a huge loss, not just to his family and friends, who are undeniably suffering, but also to the community that enjoyed his music. It's hard not to think about the what-ifs and the music that could have been. My thoughts are with his loved ones, especially his little girl who will grow up knowing her dad through stories and songs. ?
