David Teitelbaum, a 50-year-old mental health counselor from Pembroke Pines, was tragically shot and killed on November 9, 2014, while visiting a friend's home in Hollywood, Florida. Teitelbaum was at the residence of James Anthony Welker, located in the 2600 block of Grant Street, when the incident occurred. According to reports, Teitelbaum was shot in the stomach around 2:50 p.m. on a Sunday and was immediately rushed to Memorial Regional Hospital.
