I've been following the tragic incident in Cobbs Creek, and the aspect that stands out to me is the sheer fear and confusion this must have instilled in the community, especially considering how sudden and vicious the attack was. Imagine being so close to home, a place where you should feel the safest, and having something so terrible happen. I can’t help but think about the children inside the house. They went to bed like any other night and woke up to an unimaginable nightmare. I hope they have a strong support system around them and that the community steps up to offer comfort and aid.
It's puzzling how 18 shots could be fired with no one in the neighborhood catching even a glimpse of the shooter. Maybe someone out there saw something they don't realize is crucial to the case. A car parked out of place, a figure lurking in the shadows, anything. I really urge anyone who might have any memory or detail, no matter how small it seems, to share it with law enforcement. The family deserves answers and justice. Let's all hope some leads come in soon.
