Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Tamere Mountcastle and I can't shake the thought of his family during this incredibly difficult time. One thing that struck me was the strong response from the community, especially the overwhelming support on the GoFundMe campaign his friends and family set up. It's truly touching to see people coming together to honor Tamere and help his loved ones with funeral expenses. The community's response seems to be a testament to the kind of person Tamere was, and it's clear he made a big impact on those around him. It makes me wonder how we, as a community, can do more to prevent such senseless violence from taking more lives and leaving families in grief. On another note, it seems like gun violence in Philly is becoming an alarming trend. There’s a lot of talk about how we need more community engagement, and I totally support that. It's terrifying to think there were so many shootings in one weekend. We all need to do more to help the police with their efforts, whether it's coming forward with information or supporting community initiatives that aim to tackle the root causes of this violence. Hoping for healing and justice for Tamere's family and for everyone affected by the violence that weekend. Stay safe out there, everyone.
