I can't stop thinking about how young Destin was at just 22. It's hard to wrap my mind around the senselessness of this tragedy. A single gunshot wound behind the ear... it makes you wonder about the perpetrator's state of mind. Robbery as a motive doesn't make it any easier to comprehend. How does something as insignificant as material possessions come before a life?
I read that his funeral was at Holy Innocents Catholic Church. I hope that his friends and family are finding some peace and comfort through their faith, but I can't imagine how hard this must be for them. It’s so important that communities come together in times like these to support one another.
If anyone knows anything, even the tiniest detail, it could make all the difference. Destin and his loved ones deserve justice, and knowing closure could be within reach is crucial. Please, if you’ve heard anything or know anyone who might have, the Philadelphia police really need our help to bring justice to Destin’s family.
