Has anyone else seen the updates about the ballistic evidence in the Denver Newton and Lamont Wright case? I just read that investigators are working on matching shell casings from the scene with previous unsolved crimes in the area. It seems like such a crucial step, but it's disheartening that it's taken so long with no arrests yet. My heart goes out to the families, especially Denver’s, who are still waiting for closure. I hope this lead helps move things forward and finally brings some answers. Also, if anyone has any insight into how ballistic matching really works in these investigations, I'd love to learn more about it. It’s important we understand the small moves forward in cases like these.
