Hey everyone, I’m struggling to come to terms with the fact that one of the suspects in Semaj Fields' murder was reportedly wearing a medical walking boot during the shooting. It's such a distinctive detail that's difficult to comprehend in such a senseless act. It makes me think about their desperation or mindset at the time — to be so determined to resort to violence despite an apparent injury. It just adds another layer of sadness and confusion to this tragedy. I can't even imagine the pain that Semaj’s family and the community are going through right now. Seeing community members come together in the aftermath offers a bit of hope that change might eventually happen. If anyone has any insights or similar cases, I'd be interested to hear them. Hoping for justice and peace for everyone affected. ?
