Hey everyone,
I’ve been following the tragic case of Jason Lamar Smith Jr., and it’s been really tough to watch the lack of developments since it happened over a year ago. One thing that really stood out to me from the snippet released by law enforcement is that they don't believe it was a random attack. It makes me wonder if there was perhaps some kind of prior conflict or known relationship between Jason and the shooter(s).
The fact that they've not released any suspect names or made arrests is so concerning. It must be incredibly hard for Jason's family and friends to go day after day without knowing who’s responsible. I can't imagine the frustration they must be feeling.
Does anyone here think the silence means they have a suspect they’re building a case against, or could it be they’re completely at a standstill? Maybe there’s someone out there who knows something imperative but is hesitating to come forward. Hopefully, someone will have the courage to share what they know soon. Just wishing peace and strength for everyone who knew and loved Jason.

I've been following the sad story of Jason Lamar Smith Jr. and just can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to this case than meets the eye. It’s incredibly troubling that, after all this time, there haven't been any arrests made. It makes you wonder if the people involved might have been close to Jason or known well to him in some way. I mean, it's almost been a year and a half, and it seems like somebody out there knows something crucial that could crack this case wide open.
