Hey everyone,
I've been reading about James Pennington's case since it popped up in my recommended articles, and I can't stop thinking about the security measures in place (or maybe the lack thereof) at his workplace. From what I've gathered, 220 South King Street wasn’t some small, obscure building—it was supposed to be a more secure location given its use for office spaces, right? Did they have security cameras back in the '90s there? And what about access controls? It seems concerning that someone could harm Mr. Pennington so severely without anyone noticing anything!
I sincerely hope that investigators revisit these practical aspects, like building security and employee access records (if they even exist from that time) to see if any overlooked details might emerge now with modern investigative techniques. Even though it's been decades, any small clue could potentially open up new leads and, hopefully, lead to justice for Mr. Pennington and his family.
If anyone has more insights into how buildings like these were operated security-wise back then or anything else you think might help, please share. It seems like any piece of information, no matter how small, could contribute to finding answers in this tragic case.
Stay safe, everyone.
I’ve been thinking a lot about the Pennington case, especially the location where he was found. It’s odd that even though it was an unoccupied office space, no one noticed anything unusual leading up to or immediately after the crime? I mean, wouldn't someone have seen or heard something, considering the building must have had other people around, even if that floor was empty?
This makes me wonder if someone familiar with the building layout might have been responsible, possibly taking advantage of the quiet space. It must be so difficult for James's loved ones knowing he's been gone all this time and there are still so few answers. If anyone remembers anything suspicious from that area around November 1990, no matter how small, it might finally help the authorities connect the dots.
