Has anyone else been really moved by the level of support we've seen pouring in for Shareek's family and friends? It's always such a gut punch to see someone so young and full of promise losing their life like this. I read that he was super active in sports like basketball and football. ?? Just imagining all those games he played and the connections he made along the way... it’s truly a reminder of how a single life can impact a community. I still find it hard to believe this happened so close to home in Fayetteville. It's like no one is ever really ready for news like this. My heart goes out to his mom and dad, Monica and Shareef. I can't even fathom what they're going through. If anyone knows about any local efforts to support his family or if there are gatherings or vigils in the area, please share. We need to keep standing together. ?
