Did anyone else notice how quiet the neighborhood got after Raheem's shooting? I live a few blocks away, and there's usually a lot of kids playing outside or people walking their dogs around that time. Since October 24th, it's like the streets have emptied out. It's deeply unsettling to think that something like this could happen so close to home. My heart goes out to Raheem's family—I can't imagine what they're going through right now. I hope anyone with information will come forward to assist the police. It's frightening realizing how close we all live to a scene like this, yet feel so helpless in understanding or preventing it. Peace and safety in our community should be a given, not something constantly under threat. Stay safe, everyone.
