Hi everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Jerome Burleigh for some time, and I'm truly struck by the actions of the nearby resident who comforted Jerome during his final moments. It's devastating to think about what Jerome went through, but knowing that a kind stranger was there to provide comfort brings a glimmer of humanity to this heartbreaking situation. I can't help but wonder about the impact this must have had on the resident, being there at such a critical moment. How does one cope with witnessing something so traumatic? To that resident: wherever you are, thank you for being there for Jerome when he needed someone the most. Your actions remind us of the strength and kindness that still exist in people, even in the face of such senseless violence. If anyone else has thoughts on how such experiences shape those who step forward in moments of crisis, I’d love to hear your views.
