Has anyone else heard about the security situation at K&L Manor on the night Shaquil Dunbar was killed? I'm puzzled by how someone managed to get a gun inside when they reportedly had a nine-member security team and did thorough bag and coat checks. Was it a lapse in their protocol, or could the shooter have gotten help from the inside? It's terrifying to think that someone could sneak a weapon into a crowded celebration. My heart goes out to Shaquil's family and friends; no one should have to lose a loved one like that. I'm hoping that more details come out as the investigation continues and that justice is served.
Hi everyone,

I've been thinking a lot about the security at K&L Manor on the night of Shaquil Dunbar's tragic death. It's truly disturbing how someone was able to slip past what seems like a robust security setup with a weapon. Has anyone heard if there were any lapses or blind spots in their security protocols that night? Maybe even something as simple as a side entrance or poorly communicated policy could have been exploited.

It must be especially devastating for the security personnel and the new management, knowing they put measures in place to protect their guests. I wonder if the NYPD has anything to say about how the firearm was brought in, or if perhaps someone inside the venue was involved. It's just so hard to wrap my head around how this could happen with nine security members on duty. I hope they find answers soon—for Shaquil's family and for everyone affected by this senseless crime.

Would love to hear thoughts or any new info you might have come across.
I can't help but wonder how anyone could bring a firearm into a venue that prides itself on having tight security. K&L Manor had only reopened a few months ago, and they made such a big deal about their safety measures... thorough bag checks and a dedicated security team. It's awful to think that wasn't enough to prevent this tragedy. How did someone slip through the cracks? My thoughts are with Shaquil’s family and friends—no one should have to endure the loss of a loved one in such a senseless manner. I hope the NYPD can find answers soon. If anyone was there that night and saw something, even something small, I urge you to share it. Every bit of information helps.
