Has anyone else been thinking about the timing of this terrible incident, right on the heels of such a joyful event like the Puerto Rican Day Parade? It’s so tragic to see how swiftly a celebration of culture and community can be overshadowed by such violence. Jeremy, or "Big Red" as many knew him, seemed to have a life full of promise with his kids and fiancée. I can't imagine what his family must be going through right now, especially after losing someone like him who was known for staying away from trouble. It’s heartbreaking how something as minor as a fender-bender earlier in the day spiraled into this tragedy. My thoughts are with his loved ones and everyone affected by this senseless act. Does anyone know if there’s been any community response or gatherings to honor his memory?
