I've been following the tragic case of Marcelino Valerio's murder, and something that sticks out to me is the audacity and coldness it takes for someone, especially a family member, to act normal after committing such a heinous crime. I can't imagine the pain his family must be enduring, especially since they were likely comforted by someone who allegedly played a part in the tragedy. This makes me wonder about the psychological implications for family members in cases like this. How do they even begin to process that someone they trusted and loved could betray them so horrifically? I hope they're finding the support they need to navigate this complex and devastating situation. My heart goes out to them as they try to find peace and justice for Marcelino.
