Did anyone else find the series of events surrounding Ashad Cooper's last day a bit baffling? It's terrible that someone lost their life this way, and my heart really goes out to Ashad's family and friends who have been left with so many unanswered questions. What stands out to me is how he was supposedly in multiple altercations throughout the day but was still allowed to be out and about after being briefly detained. Why wasn't there a more stringent follow-up after the fight at El Patron? I get that the other party wasn’t cooperating, but considering Ashad's turbulent day, shouldn't there have been more intervention to prevent something like this from happening? It’s frightening to think about how quickly a situation can escalate, and I hope the police get the information they need to bring Ashad’s killer to justice. Would love to hear others’ thoughts on this. Stay safe, everyone.
