I’ve been following the case of Jared Perry and Marquis Chambers, and it’s just deeply disturbing to hear about what happened on Lyell Avenue. I can’t imagine the pain their families are going through right now. I was particularly struck by the reports of a man fleeing the scene. It raises so many questions. How could someone disappear so quickly and evade capture with so much attention on this case? It makes me wonder about the potential for any surveillance footage in the area that could provide more insights. Given the tragic events of that weekend in Rochester, it seems even more crucial for the community to come together and support one another. I hope anyone with information will find the courage to speak up, no matter how small their insight might seem. This just can’t go unsolved with two young lives lost and a community on edge.
