I was driving down Delaware Avenue the other day, and the feeling there is just unsettling now. You can still sense the shock in the air. I can't help but think of Grier's family whenever I pass the area. It’s tragic that someone so young, with presumably so much life ahead, had it cut short in such a violent manner. What’s been really bothering me is how there were so many witnesses around during the incident, and yet the suspect hasn’t been caught. I understand the suspect's identity might be difficult to determine, but surely someone must have seen something that could help further identify the guy or offer a clear lead. It's just all so frustrating. The memorial on Warren Street truly shows how much the community cared about Davyjian. Every time I hear of another shooting, I think of how that can bring devastating changes to families and entire communities like it has here. I sincerely hope justice is served, and we can prevent things like this from happening again. Stay safe out there, everyone.

I still can't believe something like this happened so close to such a busy area. It's terrifying to think that a simple disagreement could escalate to something so tragic, and it highlights how quickly things can turn. My heart goes out to Davyjian's family, especially his grandmother Marie, who must be going through an unimaginable ordeal. I walk past that Stewart's Shop pretty often, and the thought of something like this happening just around the same time is really unsettling. It's a testament to the need for communities to come together, not just in grieving but in trying to prevent such senseless violence in the future. Have any of you seen the surveillance footage? I'm hoping it can help lead to the suspect's capture because it'd also bring some peace to a community still shaken by this loss. Stay safe, everyone, and let's keep supporting each other.
