I’ve been following this case and am genuinely puzzled by the choice of getaway vehicle. The suspect supposedly left the scene on a Citi Bike — kind of odd, right? Speed and mobility are crucial when fleeing the scene, and while bikes are great for navigating the city’s tight spaces, they don't exactly scream 'quick escape.' Could the choice of a Citi Bike be more about blending in with everyday traffic rather than speed? I wonder if this means the suspect lives nearby or knows the area well enough to navigate easily. It’s unsettling that someone could plan something so horrific in such a public place and then disappear like that. My heart goes out to Juan’s family and friends, who deserved so much better than to lose him under such cruel circumstances. Let’s hope that any witnesses who might’ve noticed something step up to help bring some much-needed closure to those left grieving.
I’ve been following the discussion about Juan Lluverez’s murder, and one detail that sticks with me is how the assailant used a Citi Bike to commit the crime. It seems so brazen to use something like that, which is meant for public transportation, to do something so devastating. It just adds another layer of surrealness to the whole situation.
It makes you wonder how premeditated this was—did the shooter specifically plan to blend in with the environment by choosing a Citi Bike? And how did no one spot something suspicious? There are usually people around at that time, especially near a dealership like Speed Racer Imports.
Juan seemed like such a well-loved member of the community, and it's just tragic to think he was taken away so abruptly, especially right before a trip he was looking forward to. I truly hope someone steps up with information soon. It's crucial for closure, for his family, and for the safety of the neighborhood.
