I keep thinking about Xavier Navarez and the talent he showed at such a young age. It’s so devastating to see someone with such drive and vision have their future stolen in an instant. With “Die Rich,” it sounds like he was really onto something, showcasing what the Bronx community has to offer creatively. I've been following up on similar cases, and it just seems so senseless. From what I've read, Xavier was well on his way to making a name for himself—not just in the Bronx, but possibly beyond. It makes you wonder what else needs to be done to support young innovators in these neighborhoods so that they can thrive without fear of violence cutting their dreams short. If only we could channel the energy and support into protecting them and nurturing their aspirations. It’s something that really hits home and makes you wish more was being done. Sending all my thoughts to Xavier’s family and friends who must be going through unimaginable pain right now.
