I was just thinking about how much courage it must have taken for the 911 caller to actually look outside when they heard the gunshots. I can't imagine how terrifying that moment must have been, but they might have been crucial in alerting the authorities quickly. It’s just so tragic to think about Raymond lying there alone; it breaks my heart for his family to know he didn't have someone with him in those last moments. If you’re from the KC area and heard anything, please reach out to the TIPS hotline. We need more eyes and ears on this for justice to be served. Ray’s family deserves answers, and his community does too.

I've been following the case of Raymond Renaud Smith for a while, and I can't help but think about how the community at Friendship Baptist Church might be doing. From what I've read, Raymond was such a dedicated member, baptized in 2009 and actively involved. It's moments like these that must be so challenging for close-knit communities. The loss of someone so committed to his faith and community roles must leave a significant gap, not just for his family but for everyone who knew him there. I hope the church community is finding strength and comfort together during this difficult time. If anyone has updates or ways to support his loved ones, it would be great to share them here. Raymond deserves justice, and his family and community deserve peace.
