Hi everyone, I keep thinking about the intersection where Ametta Powell was found. It's a part of St. Louis that has seen its share of violence, and it's heartbreaking to know that another life was lost there. It makes me wonder about the safety measures in place and why more isn't being done to secure these areas where people clearly feel unsafe. I can't imagine what her family and friends are going through, and it's upsetting to think that her killer is still out there somewhere. Hopefully, the attention being brought to these cases will push local authorities to take more action. It seems like there needs to be a collaborative effort from both the community and law enforcement to address the violence that's been affecting the Mark Twain I-70 Industrial neighborhood. Ametta, like anyone, deserved to be safe, and it's a tragedy that her life was cut short this way. If anyone local has any insights or thoughts on ways the community could rally to create change, it would be interesting to hear your perspectives. Stay safe, everyone.
