Has anyone looked into any possible sightings or reports from hikers around the McKenzie River basin near the time Chase disappeared? Considering how popular that area can be for outdoor enthusiasts, I'm wondering if maybe someone saw something that seemed off or noticed anything unusual around the time his car was found. It's such a densely forested area that it’s easy to miss things, but a fresh perspective from people who frequent the trails might bring something to light. If you were hiking or know someone who was in that area around late April 2020, it might be worth checking in with them. Anything could help bring some direction to this case.
Has anyone else been following Chase Robertson's case? I was just thinking about how dangerous and dense the forested area around Quartz Creek Road is, especially after reading about all the complications from the Holiday Farm Fire. It seems like searching that area would be nearly impossible now with all the debris and changed terrain. I wonder if there are any locals who know the area well enough to navigate it despite these challenges or if there are any new technologies that could provide leads in such a rugged environment. It's frustrating how nature can make things so much more difficult for search teams and families looking for answers. Does anyone know if there's a continuing volunteer effort to search the area, or if they're relying solely on professional teams at this point?
Hey everyone,
I've been following Chase Robertson's case for a while, and something keeps bugging me about the location his vehicle was found. Quartz Creek Road is such a remote area; it's not exactly a place you'd just end up by accident. Was he known to hang out there, or was he meeting someone? I feel like tracing his last known plans could be key. Also, after the Holiday Farm Fire, the landscape changed drastically. I wonder if this has affected the search efforts? Maybe there are areas that weren't accessible before or clues that got overlooked because of the debris? If anyone has any insights on the local geography or any new ideas, please share. Hoping for answers soon for his family's sake.
