In many cases, there are underlying mental health struggles that can escalate situations to violence if not properly managed. It's a reminder of how important it is for people to have access to mental health resources and for loved ones to be vigilant and ready to support those who might be struggling. My heart goes out to Ruth's family and anyone affected by this senseless act.
