I’ve been following Deshaun McKinzey's case closely, and it’s really got me thinking about the impact these tragic events have on the entire community. I can't imagine the pain his family and friends must be going through. It's so frustrating to hear that, despite there being so many people present during the incident, no suspects have been identified yet. I wonder if the fear of retaliation or distrust of the police is keeping people from coming forward. Attending those vigils must have been powerful; it’s heartening to see community groups like KC Mothers in Charge stepping up and rallying for change. It feels like their voices might be exactly what’s needed to encourage witnesses to speak out. Just shows how vital community support is in times like these. Does anyone know if there's been any new information or leads since the last update? It’s really worrying that these cases seem to stall without more public cooperation.
