Has anyone considered what might have been going on with Carter Curtis leading up to the tragic incident? It’s just haunting to think about a young man feeling so cornered that he’d do the unimaginable. While there's so much focus on the crime itself, I'm wondering what life must have been like in that household before the shooting. Were there any signs of trouble or tension that others might have noticed beforehand? My heart goes out to McMurphy's wife, who was woken up to such a horrifying reality. No one should have to face such a devastating moment, especially not at the hands of someone they cared for. I hope the investigation sheds light on why this happened, and maybe there can be some understanding or closure for those left picking up the pieces.

I can't stop thinking about John's wife in all of this. To think she was suddenly awakened to such a terrifying and incomprehensible scene. It must be unimaginable to experience something so tragic within the walls of your own home, especially from someone you cared for as family. It's a lot to process not only the loss of her husband but also the situation with Carter.
