Has anyone else been following the Daniel Rivera Jr. case? I've been thinking a lot about the role of ShotSpotter technology in this case. It's frustrating that despite the system detecting the gunfire in real-time, there haven't been any arrests. It just makes me wonder how effective these technologies truly are in helping solve crimes. I can't imagine how his friends and family must feel, having this piece of technology capturing such a critical moment yet still dealing with so many unanswered questions. Does anyone here have insights on how often ShotSpotter data actually leads to breakthroughs in investigations? Hoping justice finds its way soon.
