Has anyone else noticed the lack of cameras or witnesses coming forward for the shooting on May 1st at Prospect Street? It's strange considering how busy that area supposedly is. I feel for the families of Jerome Francis and Chevaughn Fagan because people need to speak up to get any real justice. I can’t imagine the pain they must be going through, not only losing their loved ones but also watching time pass with no arrests. Detective work must be so frustrating when no new leads come in. It's hard to believe that no one saw anything or remembered little details around 7:45 p.m. that might help. It’s a busy area; there have to be little things that people might not realize are significant. I hope someone speaks up soon, for the sake of the families and to prevent this from happening to someone else. Do you guys have any thoughts on why there's been silence in a supposedly crowded area?
It's absolutely devastating to think about what Jerome's family is going through right now. I was reading about the incident, and something that stood out to me was the deployment of several airbags in Jerome’s Infiniti. This suggests that there was likely some kind of impact before or during the shooting, which might have left a vital clue about what exactly transpired that evening. Maybe there was an attempt to flee the scene or a crash happened during the chaos? I hope the investigators are looking into any nearby surveillance footage that might shed light on the sequence of events, and I sincerely hope anyone with even a tiny bit of information will come forward. Losing two lives in such a violent manner is beyond tragic, and my heart goes out to both Jerome's and Chevaughn's loved ones.
