I’ve been following the tragic story of Antoine Hill's murder and can't stop thinking about the chaos it must have caused in the Campostella neighborhood. It's terrifying to imagine living in an area where such violence can erupt suddenly, right around dinner time when families are gathering for the evening. Reading about the shots heard at 6:20 p.m. makes me wonder about the impact on the community and the trauma it's left behind, especially on those who heard or witnessed the incident.
I hope that anyone who knows something, no matter how small it may seem, feels compelled to come forward. The police are still searching for leads, and even the tiniest piece of information could be the key to solving this case. Has anyone else been following the strange details surrounding the Jubilee Street scene? I’ve been thinking a lot about how the police found that 17-year-old near where Antoine was shot. It's been on my mind how close everything was, and how fortunate it was that his injuries weren’t life-threatening. I can't help but feel for his family, knowing how stressful and terrifying this must have been. I just wish there were more updates from the authorities on what happened between Vine and Jubilee Streets that evening. Why this young guy was also there and if it's connected in some way. Any locals with insights or anyone who's looked into similar cases? I hope they find justice for Antoine soon. It must be so difficult for his loved ones to not know what's going on.
